It’s clear to us all that there is no Planet B.

Little by little we’re destroying the beautiful planet we live on, and we need to make drastic changes. Our maximum priority is to protect our environment, and to make the most possible efforts regarding sustainability. The concept of our ‘invisible’ film truck is the first in our steps to try and have the minimum visual impact whilst shooting in some of the world’s most beautiful places. However despite being invisible, of course we still have an impact and we need to make sure that this is kept to the bare minimum. We have set up a series of actions to help you make your shoot the most respectful and sustainable as possible.

Manuela Film Truck relies on solar power generated by 2 powerful solar panels. We try to avoid using generators whenever possible, and when they are used, it is only in essential moments. We also have eco flow solar powered generators (available to rent) to offer back up on set using only renewable energy.

We are currenly implementing a system to collect and recycle rain water, and all the grey waters produced on set.

We use minimal and ecological chemicals in the bathroom, and even the hand soap and washing up liquid is totally ecological and biodegradable.

Manuela always leaves a mininal footprint and we pride ourselves on leaving locations better than we find them. You will find at your crews disposition rubbish collecting gadgets to help you clear up the plastic and add it to the recycling bins provided. (Plastic, paper, glass and organic)

Our coffee machine is bean to cup, meaning no capsules, and uneccesary waste.

We have a no plastic rule with our catering materals, and only use recyclable and non plastic materials.

We provide water dispensers of up to 25l to avoid using water bottles. We provide reusable water bottles and coffee cups on request.

We work alongside an ecological olive farm in Tarragona and promise to plant a new tree for every time Manuela is rented. (even paper cups need to be replaced)

We are always open to suggestions and would love to hear any ideas you have to help us become even more sustainable, the struggle is real and we’re in this together. Thank you for helping us to be as respectful as possible.
